Eligibility
Unfortunately RLS is unable to accept everyone who applies for our services. We are restricted from doing so by a
combination of limited resources and by regulation.
First, the program serves only low income clients. Applicants must meet our income requirements. Income is
based on household income and can be affected by medical expenses, work expenses, etc. Second, the program has several different levels of case priorities which will determine the type of case and the level of
service we will provide. Finally, all cases are limited to civil matters, we do not handle criminal cases of any kind.

374-9101. PLAS handles all initial client contact and eligibility determinations.
